Lesion & Mole Excisions

Safe surgical removal of skin lesions and moles performed by qualified doctors in our medical facility.

What we remove:

  • Moles (suspicious or cosmetic concerns)
  • Skin cancers (basal cell, squamous cell, melanoma)
  • Cysts
  • Warts
  • Lipomas (benign fatty growths)

The procedure:

  1. Assessment: Our doctor evaluates the lesion and determines the appropriate approach
  2. Local anaesthetic: The area is numbed for your comfort
  3. Excision: The lesion is carefully removed with appropriate margins
  4. Closure: The wound is stitched and dressed
  5. Laboratory testing: Suspicious lesions are sent for pathology

Recovery:

Most excisions heal within 2-3 weeks. Proper wound care minimises scarring. Follow-up appointment scheduled for suture removal and to discuss pathology results if applicable.

When to seek excision:

  • A lesion is changing in size, shape, or colour
  • Bleeding, itching, or pain develops
  • You want cosmetic removal
